Server Support and Monitoring
Server Support and Monitoring services are available during normal working hours Monday to Friday (8am-5pm AST) excluding statutory holidays. Server Support and Monitoring may be coupled with Preauthorized Emergency After Hours Support to maximize your organizations computing environment uptime. By combining with Emergency After Hours support, you are authorizing Dymaxion to address server alerts and incidents whenever they occur; during business hours or after hours.

Server Maintenance
Windows Server Maintenance provides your business with a more stable computing environment. Regular scheduled weekly maintenance time periods need to be identified for software/hardware patching and updating activities. If required, the customer may need to be available during these windows to accompany Dymaxion to go on site for updates that cannot be applied remotely. E.g. A maintenance window for my Mail Server is Wednesday from 7pm until 10pm and the server will be unavailable during this period of time.

Operating System Patch Management
Each of the Servers you select for monitoring will be managed for applicable operating system patches. This will help keep the server secure and up to date and operate with minimum downtime.

Server Monitoring and Alerting
Specialized software will monitor the computing equipment selected to detect abnormal physical conditions. Alerts will be sent via email messages to Dymaxion. Monitoring and Alerting does not eliminate errors and failures but enables a proactive approach to maintain uptime.

Server Error & Event Log Monitoring
The Windows Server Operating System maintains a log of unusual situations and events. Automated monitoring of the error and event log supplements scheduled manual viewing and is helpful in maintaining the overall health of server equipment.

Drive Space Monitoring
By setting suggested guidelines, Dymaxion will be aware when disk storage capacity approaches a level when proactive action is required. When an alert is received, either additional storage capacity can be added or information removed from your server.

Application and Database Monitoring
The availability and health of applications and databases will be monitored for unusual situations increasing the ability to take proactive remedial action and maintain overall uptime.

Asset Inventory
Each of the computing devices you select for monitoring will be able to report its general technical specifications and operating system details. This will help plan upgrades and replacements.

Physical
Physical Server Plan and Purchase Dymaxion is a value added reseller of a number of high quality server manufacturers. Dymaxion is well positioned to enter into a dialogue to understand and identify the needs of your organization. This service allows customers to make more informed purchasing decisions based on needs/wants and industry trends.

Physical Server Deployment Services
Servers come from distribution without a standard install of an operating system. Dymaxion will provision and deploy your servers with the appropriate operating system that meets your needs. There may be additional charges for this service, and a quote will be provided for prior approval.

Physical Hardware and Software Provisioning and Repairs
Dymaxion is a certified repair depot for the equipment that it supplies. Repairs to equipment that is under warranty or extended warranty and supplied by Dymaxion will be performed by Dymaxion. The repair work will include pickup and return. When a repair requires equipment to go offsite, shipping and tracking will be completed by Dymaxion.

Dymaxion will offer repair services for out of warranty equipment that it supplies as well. Repairs will be completed as if the equipment were under warranty, with the costs of the replacement parts being passed on to the customer. Approval by the customer for the purchasing of the parts will be sought before any purchase of replacement parts has been made. Any out of warranty repairs pose a risk for the customer of being down for an extended period of time. Out of warranty servers do not always have repair parts readily available and parts are not always available from the manufacturer. Third party repair parts, often without any guarantee of performance, will be sourced from organizations selling on Amazon or EBay.

Physical Server Hardware Repair
Customers may call Dymaxion’s Vendor Authorized Repair Depot service desk to call for assistance 902-406 HELP(4357) from 08:00 to 17:00 during normal working days, email repairs@dymaxion.ca or access an end user portal http://repair.dymaxion.ca for repair submission, quotes, status, and management.

Virtual
Dymaxion is VMware certified and a Microsoft Partner. Dymaxion is a Microsoft Certified Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and able to address your Microsoft 365 / Azure Server Service needs. Should you choose to keep your operations on or off premise as virtual “cloud”, virtual on premises, or physical we will not differentiate or change our service to you.

Dymaxion is certified in many virtual server and service product offerings. Dymaxion is well positioned to enter into a dialogue to understand and identify the needs of your organization. Determining whether a cloud service or an on premises virtual server makes sense for you can be complicated. Understanding capital and operational expenditures, while keeping each technological benefit in the forefront will help you maximize your return on investment (ROI). This service allows customers to make more informed purchasing decisions based on needs/wants and industry trends.
